Bill Milcarek, also known to many as Fresko, is a New Orleans born, New York City raised artist, whose work is inspired by a life-long passion for the ocean.  As a child, he spent many summers on the beaches of Sardinia, where he was exposed to the art, food and culture of the Mediterranean.  Bill’s relationship with the ocean, its bounty and culinary pursuits it inspired grew even stronger during the years he spent living in Montauk on Long Island, where he escaped the fast-paced life of New York City.  In 2011, Bill left the NYC restaurant and club business behind to pursue a life of art and culinary interests on the ocean.  He currently lives full-time on the Isle of Palms outside of Charleston, South Carolina with his wife and two children.
